You didn’t come this far to stop here
In love with the French Culture and France, particularly the Savoie region, he decided, together with Alyx, his partner in life, to bring his « savoir faire » to the Gate of the Three Valleys, at Moûtiers where they opened "Neo Generation Tattoo" in August 2024
"Neo Generation Tattoo" is a fully custom tattoo salon. Each piece Navin creates is uniquely designed for our clients.
Too often, the client's desires can be overshadowed by the ego of their artist. The tattoo industry is also rife with discrimination, which can impact the quality of the piece as well as the experience. This can be a daunting prospect when it comes to something you will wear for the rest of your life.
We want to offer you something different. Our goal is to bring out your ideas and sensibilities, even if they are not the same as ours. We strive to create an environment where you can feel safe, where your ideas will be heard and brought to life with respect and care. Let us create something unique with you, for you
Thank you for your interest in “Neo Generation Tattoo”
Care before tattooing
Everyone is different, but here is a list of general preparation practices:
- Eat well before you come and bring a quick snack or two in case you get hungry as well as a full bottle of water.
- Do not drink alcohol the day of your tattoo and I advise you not to be hungover from the night before as this can make the whole process a lot less fun for both of us.
- Do not take any type of medication that acts as a blood thinner. If you regularly take a blood thinner, ask your doctor if you can stop taking this medication a few days before your tattoo appointment and resume it the day after your tattoo.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows me easy access to the tattoo area and that is safe for me to get tattooed on. For example, if you are getting a tattoo on your upper arm, you should wear a tank top. If your extremities tend to get cold, consider bringing socks and/or mittens to stay warm.
- Make sure you are clean and not wearing strong perfumes, and if the area you are going to be tattooing is hairy, you may want to trim/shave that area beforehand so we don't have to take too much time out of your appointment to shave. I wouldn't recommend trying new hair removal practices shortly before getting tattooed, in case your skin gets irritated.
Tattoo Aftercare
Getting a tattoo is an exciting experience, but proper tattoo aftercare is essential to ensure your ink heals beautifully and stays vibrant for years to come.
Do's :
Drink plenty of water
Remove the bandage after several hours
Wash the area with mild soap and warm water
Apply a thin layer of the provided tattoo aftercare several times a day after washing and drying completely
Continue washing several times a day, moisturising after drying, until the skin stops flaking
Throw away the tattoo aftercare product once the tattoo is healed!
Don'ts:
Although the average tattoo takes 1-2 weeks to heal, we don't recommend the following activities for the first month: Swimming, hot tubs, excessive steaming or submersion in water (baths)
Showers are encouraged
Do not shave the area until it is completely healed
Around the 4th or 5th day, your tattoo will itch and start to flake and peel. It is very important not to pick or scratch it, this can really damage your new tattoo, a light tap will suffice if itching occurs
Do not expose your tattoo to direct sunlight, this will fade the colour
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to create my own design and when can I see my design?
I do custom tattoos as well as recreate existing artwork and portraits. You do not need to come to the consultation with the exact image you want tattooed, although you do need to have an idea of what you want for your
I suggest you choose the subject of your tattoo or the images you would like to include in it. I approach consultations with a collaborative spirit and am open to all ideas for your concept.
I recommend that you come with a shortlist of images that you like. If you are in the early stages of determining what you want, I would start saving images that relate to your idea. Then play a game of "which of these doesn't belong" and delete images until you are left with a handful of images (3-6) that feel like you and represent what you would like to get tattooed. This process can also help you determine what you really want if you are unsure of an idea.
New ideas can be suggested and designs can be changed until we meet for the tattoo session where we will work together on the design. A final draft will be done the same day before the tattoo
and I will either schedule you for a drawing consultation to see it in person or I will email you a preliminary sketch a few days in advance.

How do I care for my new tattoo?
I am not a doctor and cannot prescribe anything, but here are my suggestions for taking care of your new tattoo:
- Keep your bandage on for 3 hours or overnight, depending on what we discuss at your appointment.
- Wash your tattoo immediately after removing your bandage with warm water, soap, and clean fingers (a washcloth would be too rough). Hand soap works great and I prefer store-bought soap
pump so you don't have to worry about getting the bar of soap dirty. Run fairly warm water over your freshly unwrapped tattoo for a minute or two before lathering it up to open up the pores. Lather your tattoo up well (be gentle but really go ahead and work it in) and rinse it off until the blood/plasma/ink/balm layer is gone.
- Wash with soap and water twice a day for the first 1-2 days, then reduce to once a day until the tattoo is healed.
- Start applying the balm twice a day, about 12 hours after getting your tattoo. Apply the balm after washing your tattoo and letting it air dry with clean hands. Use only a very small amount of balm; just enough to get your tattoo done
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
I prefer that you come alone to your appointment so I can focus on the project at hand. If you need someone to accompany you, please ask me directly.
